Major WWE star isn't happy Randy Orton is getting a world title match; speaks to management backstage
A major WWE star has expressed unhappiness with Randy Orton challenging for the World Heavyweight Championship at Bash in Berlin. The person in question is Drew McIntyre, who complained about it backstage to Adam Pearce.
The Viper made a surprise appearance on RAW last week and challenged Gunther to a title match at the upcoming Premium Live Event in Germany. He reminded The Ring General that his shoulders weren't on the mat when the referee counted to three during the King of the Ring tournament final in Saudi Arabia.
Gunther accepted the challenge and the match was made official for the event. On the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, Drew McIntyre approached Adam Pearce backstage to discuss the match. He said he was wondering why Randy Orton, a SmackDown Superstar, is getting a World Heavyweight Championship match.
He added that The Apex Predator did nothing for months after he was screwed in Saudi Arabia and it left people wondering what he was going to do next. Drew McIntyre then said that he knows Randy very well, and proceeded to call him a snake in the grass.
However, he mentioned that he wouldn't sit back and let Orton strike on his turf just because he was screwed one time. Later on, during the show, Drew McIntyre confronted Randy Orton and Gunther, but he was blindsided by CM Punk.
