Major WWE star might not return until the end of 2024, says Sam Roberts, after being rushed to the hospital

WWE analyst, Sam Roberts recently discussed the future of a top WWE Superstar after the latter suffered a significant injury last Monday on RAW. He claimed the former World Heavyweight Champion could remain off television until the end of 2024.

Seth Rollins was viciously attacked by Bronson Reed, who hit the former with six Tsunamis on the previous episode of RAW. After coughing blood, The Visionary was rushed to the hospital. RAW General Manager, Adam Pearce later announced that Rollins would be absent for an unspecified time due to suffering several cracked ribs and internal bruising.

On his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Roberts addressed the angle, pointing out that Rollins might be taking time off to heal from other legitimate injuries, although he wasn't sure of the extent of those. Meanwhile, he suggested that The Visionary remained off television until the end of the year, even if he was fit before that. In fact, he didn't want the 38-year-old to return before Royal Rumble, early next year.

"I think either Seth returns at the Royal Rumble. And who knows what his injury is, right? That's a big question. Who knows how much time an injury like he's got, whatever it is, will require? But assuming that we don't know, he needs time off, and we can just talk about when he can come back that was like good for business, I would say keep him off TV for the rest of the year. Even if he's gonna be good by November, keep him off. You've got enough guys. Keep him off TV for the rest of the year and have him either return at the Royal Rumble or in the build-upo WrestleMania," he said. [51:55 - 52:34]

Bronson Reed explained why he attacked Seth Rollins on WWE RAW

Following his vicious attack on Seth Rollins, Bronson Reed took to Instagram to state that he does not create art but chaos. In an exclusive post-RAW interview, the powerhouse explained more why he destroyed The Visionary.

The supremely confident 35-year-old claimed his good work had been unnoticed despite him being one of the best in the business. Hence, he wanted to show that he was not in WWE "to play around" and that is why he destroyed one of the company's golden talents.

"You already know why. I have been telling the whole world that I am one of the best in this business week after week and it’s been falling on deaf ears. Tonight, I did what I had to do. I crushed one of WWE’s golden boys. I hit Tsunami after Tsunami after Tsunami on [Seth] Rollins to show you all that I am not here to play around. The killer is unleashed and Bronson Reed is at the very top of this business," he said.

While Rollins would be out of action for a while, it would be interesting to see who Bronson Reed would target next in his effort to be heard by the Stamford-based promotion.
