Major WWE star shares honest thoughts on Bobby Lashley reportedly signing with AEW

Former WWE Superstar Bobby Lashley is reportedly on his way to AEW. Booker T recently shared his thoughts on the matter.

Last week on AEW Dynamite, MVP made a surprise appearance on the show. This week, Shelton Benjamin made his debut for the Tony Khan-led promotion. It is only a matter of time before The All Mighty joins them and they reunite the Hurt Business. The former WWE Champion parted ways with the global wrestling juggernaut in August 2024 after his contract expired. Fightful Select reported that he has already inked a deal with the Tony Khan-led promotion and his debut is impending.

While speaking on the latest edition of his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T stated that he was happy Bobby Lashley is headed to AEW.

"I said that about MVP, of course I'm gonna say that about Shelton (Benjamin) and Bobby (Lashley), man. Those are my guys. I want to see those guys come up, I don't want to see anybody out in the cold in this situation. I'm glad that Tony Khan pulled the trigger, got them all in and continue the Hurt Syndicate, whatever they're calling themselves. I like it, I like it a lot," Booker T said. [33:42 - 34:08]

Booker T questions who Bobby Lashley and company will start a feud against in AEW

Bobby Lashley led a faction in WWE known as the Hurt Business, which included MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Cedric Alexander. They feuded with The New Day and another faction called Retribution.

Booker T wondered who Bobby Lashley and the others would feud against in AEW, as there are not a lot of stars in the Tony Khan-led promotion who are as physically big as they are.

"Who do they feud with? I mean, you gotta wait to -- Luchasaurus or somebody like that? Who do they feud with? That's gonna be the question," Booker T said. [37:28 - 37:48]

It will be interesting to see when Bobby Lashley will make his debut for AEW and what the promotion has in store for him.
