Major WWE star takes credit for The New Day turning heel on RAW
A major WWE Superstar took credit for The New Day's heel turn on this past Monday's episode of RAW. The popular faction celebrated ten years as a faction on RAW but turned their backs on Big E during the segment.
Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods got into an argument after they were squashed by Alpha Academy last week on the red brand. Big E showed up during their 10th anniversary on RAW and suggested that he could manage Woods and Kingston moving forward. The New Day shot down Big E's suggestion and told their former stablemate to get out of the ring.
Karrion Kross took to Instagram today to take credit for Kingston and Woods leaving Big E behind. The leader of The Final Testament also claimed he was responsible for several other recent heel turns, and you can check out the veteran's Instagram story by clicking here.
Karrion Kross and The Final Testament are currently in a bitter rivalry with The Wyatt Sicks on WWE RAW. The Final Testament and The Wyatt Sicks are set to clash in an eight-man tag team match next week on the red brand.
Former WWE writer claims The New Day's segment on RAW didn't make sense
Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently shared his thoughts on Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods betraying Big E on WWE RAW.
Speaking on this week's edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, Russo stated that the segment was not believable due to Big E suffering a broken neck two years ago. The veteran argued that it was difficult to believe that two of the veteran's closest friends would betray him because of the injury.
"That Kofi-Woods thing made zero sense. My God, bro. The dude broke his freaking neck, and you want me to believe that two of his closest friends are gonna cut a promo on him because he broke his neck? That was beyond unbelievable." [From 11:02 onwards]
