Major WWE star will return after over a year of absence to win Women's Royal Rumble, predicts analyst

Several top female WWE Superstars are favorites to win the upcoming Women's Royal Rumble. However, analyst Sam Roberts predicted a multi-time Women's Champion would return after over a year of absence to win the historic match.

Charlotte Flair suffered multiple serious knee injuries during a match against Asuka on the December 8, 2023, episode of SmackDown. The 14-time Women's Champion has since been out of action. While discussing the upcoming Women's Royal Rumble on his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Roberts suggested The Queen could return to participate in the match for a championship shot at WrestleMania 41.

The 41-year-old analyst predicted that the second-generation superstar will win the Women's Royal Rumble. Flair previously won the match in 2020 and went on to defeat Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 36 to capture the NXT Women's Championship:

"Charlotte is my pick to win the Women's Royal Rumble this year right now, but who knows? Who knows she'll even be back," he said. [From 1:12:15 to 1:12:21]

Former WWE star also thinks Charlotte Flair will win the 2025 Women's Royal Rumble

On the Rebooked podcast, former WWE Superstar Matthew Rehwoldt (FKA Aiden English) also discussed the potential winner of the upcoming Women's Royal Rumble.

The current TNA color commentator predicted that Charlotte Flair would return to win the match and earn a Women's Championship shot at WrestleMania 41:

"Right now I'm gonna pencil in a returning Charlotte Flair," he said.
