Major WWE Superstar betraying Roman Reigns at Survivor Series is possible, says ex-employee, after unexpected swerve in The Bloodline storyline

Roman Reigns has been absent from WWE for nearly four months. A former WWE employee now thinks The Tribal Chief's return could result in an unexpected swerve in The Bloodline storyline.

While Reigns went on hiatus following his loss to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL, Solo Sikoa seemingly betrayed him and took control of The Bloodline. He even claimed the 39-year-old would have to acknowledge him as his Tribal Chief upon his comeback. Speaking on The Last Word, wrestling veteran, Jonathan Coachman suggested an angle.

He said that the former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion could reveal himself as the one who had instructed his Enforcer to do everything he had been doing these past few months. Hence, upon his return, he would again claim his position as The Head of the Table. Coachman's co-host, Tommy Carlucci, agreed that that would be an interesting scenario.

The former WWE employee suggested that Sikoa and the other Bloodline members fall in line upon Reigns' comeback. However, the former NXT North American Champion would then turn on The Head of the Table at Survivor Series: WarGames, later this year.

"You know what? They can keep The Bloodline as strong as they can be and it could be a swerve down the line where Solo turns on Roman at Survivor Series. Like, you keep that locomotive going with The Bloodline, with Rock and Roman, now they're all together, and then you see Roman's back on top, and week by week something happens like we all think when Rock was doing it at the beginning. Like, we all thought maybe was Rock really in with The Bloodline, blah, blah, blah," he said. [36:40 - 37:09]

Tommy Carlucci has no doubts that Roman Reigns will return at WWE SummerSlam

Many fans expect Roman Reigns to return at SummerSlam to confront his cousin, Solo Sikoa. While Tommy Carlucci discussed multiple possible scenarios for The Head of the Table's comeback, he disclosed that he has no doubts the 39-year-old will return this Saturday.

Speaking on The Last Word, the former WWE employee claimed Reigns would show up during Sikoa's match against Cody Rhodes alongside his Wiseman, Paul Heyman, and maybe even Jimmy Uso.

"I think it's gonna be sometime during the match. And I wanna say Jimmy and Jey but I'm a little hesitant on the Jey part of it. I wanna say Jimmy is gonna come with him and I know The Wiseman. And it may by just Roman and The Wiseman. So, that music is gonna hit and just for the effect of listening to that crowd pop and not seeing this guy in three months. And we all know he left the heel but Solo's made him a babyface right now. [...] Whatever's gonna happen, he's gonna be a part of SummerSlam. There's no way he's not showing up, Coach," he said.
