Major WWE Superstar finally assigned a brand
A popular WWE Superstar, who has been with the Stamford-based company for over two years, has finally been assigned a brand. The name in question is Logan Paul.
The Maverick signed a multi-year deal with the global juggernaut in June 2022. After several impressive in-ring performances, he defeated Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio to win the United States Championship at Crown Jewel 2023. The 29-year-old held the title for 273 days before losing it to LA Knight earlier this year at SummerSlam.
In the 2023 Draft, Logan Paul was deemed a free agent, which allowed him to appear on any of the brands. He then defeated Rey Mysterio, who was at the time a SmackDown superstar, to win his first title and hence made several appearances on the blue brand's show.
This past Friday, WWE SmackDown ended its run on FOX and will be moving its new home on USA Network. The cable television network recently revealed blue brand's official roster poster which includes Logan Paul, making him an officially part of the Friday nights.
WWE Hall of Famer believes Logan Paul would make one of the best babyfaces ever
Logan Paul has been a heel throughout his career. However, wrestling legend Hulk Hogan believes the former WWE United States Champion would be a great babyface.
Speaking on a recent episode of IMPAULSIVE podcast, Hogan pointed out that Logan Paul is a good heel naturally. But he believes the social media star would make for an even better babyface.
The Hall of Famer suggested the best way for WWE to book the potential turn is to have Logan save Roman Reigns from The Bloodline's attack.
"Watching what you're doing, you have a certain air about you that you're a really good heel naturally, and what is so cool, you're going to make one of the best babyfaces ever when they turn you. Because the more heat you get and the more they hate you, you're going to be an awesome babyface. For instance, Bloodline now they're starting to cheer for Roman. Just a quick thought off the top of my head, when Roman comes back, The Bloodline shoves and beats him like a dog, and he [Logan] hits the ring to save Roman. It would get him over bam, instantly. It'll be Hulk Hogan babyface personified," The Hulkster said. [From 49:13 to 49:50]
