Major WWE Superstar reacts to being left off Triple H’s new SmackDown poster

WWE Head of Creative Triple H shared a poster featuring some big names ahead of the most recent edition of Friday Night SmackDown. A superstar missing from the graphic, Carmelo Hayes, shared a post on social media to send a message following his omission.

The September 13 edition of the show was the season premiere of the blue brand. After being on FOX for five years, SmackDown has moved to the USA Network with a new-look stage and logo. Ahead of the show, Triple H shared a new poster on his X (FKA Twitter) account.

The poster features seven WWE Superstars, namely Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, LA Knight, Logan Paul, Nia Jax, Bianca Belair, and Tiffany Stratton. A wrestling fan responded to the WWE CCO's X post, sharing an edited version of the poster featuring Carmelo Hayes instead of The Maverick.

Earlier today, the former NXT Champion took to his X account to repost the edited version of the poster shared by the fan.

Carmelo Hayes locked horns with Andrade in a singles match on SmackDown's season premiere. The two rivals put forth an action-packed contest, which ended with the former AEW star emerging victorious. Andrade will challenge LA Knight for the United States Championship on the upcoming edition of Friday Night SmackDown.

Popular WWE Superstar opens up about Triple H taking over creative control

Triple H has received a lot of praise from wrestling fans since he became the Head of WWE Creative in 2022 following Vince McMahon's retirement. Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes recently shared his views on Hunter taking over the creative team.

While mentioning Triple H on their list of the most influential people in boxing, MMA, and wrestling, ESPN revealed that The American Nightmare stated that the former DX member had the instincts of a champion even before becoming one. He added that The Game has used his instincts effectively after becoming the wrestling promotion's Chief Content Officer.

"Triple H in the ring had World Champion instincts long before he ever was one. He applies those instincts expertly today as chief content officer. He was also amongst a handful of players ahead of the curve in terms of evolving the sport, which he showcased with the NXT black-and-gold era. When the moment came for him to take over with Nick Khan and lead the ship creatively, he helped guide WWE to massive television ratings and social engagement increases. I take the field for him with immense pride," Rhodes said.

Cody Rhodes successfully defended his title against Solo Sikoa in a Steel Cage match on SmackDown's season premiere. Later that night, he joined forces with arch-rival Roman Reigns with the motive of taking out the new Bloodline.
