Major WWE Superstar requests Trish Stratus to make a return to be part of historic segment
WWE legend Trish Stratus made an appearance earlier this year as the host of the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event. A popular SmackDown Superstar recently requested the former Women's Champion to appear as a guest on his talk show.
The name in question is Grayson Waller. The 34-year-old has hosted several top superstars, including Cody Rhodes, John Cena, Seth Rollins, and more on his Grayson Waller Effect talk show.
Waller was scheduled to have the WWE Tag Team Champions, The Motor City Machine Guns, on his show on SmackDown last week. However, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis called it off and announced a tag team match between the champions and A-Town Down Under instead. Chris Sabin and Alex Shelly put forth another clinical performance to win the contest and keep their winning streak intact.
During a recent conversation with Chris Van Vliet on the Insight podcast, the Aussie stated that Trish Stratus has always been his dream guest for the Grayson Waller Effect. He further requested the former WWE Women's Champion to be on the show.
"If I had to put this list two years ago when I first got The Grayson Waller Effect, it's [John] Cena, Cody [Rhodes], Shawn [Michaels], Logan [Paul], the Mount Rushmore basically, that would be great. I've always said the dream guest is Trish Stratus. I've been saying it multiple times, and unfortunately, hasn't happened yet. I'm going to keep saying it. Trish, come on, please be on my show. Let me give you the Grayson Waller rub. I just really respect her as a performer, and I've always liked her for so long. So that's always my answer, and until it happens, I can't really give another answer," he said. [From 30:12 to 30:44]

Wrestling veteran believes Trish Stratus will return to WWE for one last match
Trish Stratus returned to in-ring action last year to wrestle multiple matches, the last of which was a Steel Cage Match against Becky Lynch at WWE Payback 2023. Legendary wrestling journalist Bill Apter recently predicted that the 48-year-old would return to the Stamford-based company to wrestle one final match.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, Apter pointed out that Stratus had been appearing at wrestling conventions. The NWA Hall of Famer believes that the veteran performer would want to return to compete with a top star before retiring.
"Trish has been appearing at conventions all over the world. She has got that; she has never really lost that fire, and I think she wants to finish that story with one more match against one of the top ladies in WWE. It's going to happen because, have you seen her social media? She looks incredible," he said.

It remains to be seen if Trish Stratus will return to the squared circle for one last return soon.
