Major WWE Superstar teases potential faction split

WWE RAW this week was stacked, so you would be forgiven for overlooking some of the side stories, including Katana Chance and Kayden Carter's big tag team win.

A rare victory for the former champions could have now planted the seeds for the split of one of the company's most dominant factions. It's clear that Iyo Sky hasn't been happy with her team since her title loss at WrestleMania, and with Asuka injured and unlikely to return anytime soon, it seems Dakota Kai and Kairi Sane are the ones running the show.

This week on RAW, their loss didn't go unnoticed by Iyo Sky, and now it seems that Kai's latest update might hint that the women could be ready to go their separate ways.

"Breaking point," wrote Dakota Kai.

Dakota Kai was one of the original members of Damage CTRL along with Bayley and Iyo Sky, and it seems that without Bayley at the head of the stable or as an enemy, the group is falling apart.

Damage CTRL has dominated WWE for several years

Bayley introduced Damage CTRL back at SummerSlam in 2022, and all group members have since gone on to win championships in WWE. Sky cashed in her Money in the Bank contract last year to become Women's Champion and the group later decided to recruit Kairi Sane in the fall of 2023, who brought in Asuka.

During the group's expansion, Bayley felt like she was being pushed out. She then stepped away from the faction and challenged Sky following her Royal Rumble win earlier this year.

Since WrestleMania, Bayley has gone from strength to strength as Women's Champion, but it seems that her former group has been hit with several issues, and this latest tease from Kai could be the beginning of the end.
