Major WWE Superstar teases presidential run
A popular WWE Superstar has teased a potential presidential run. The star in question doesn't plan on running for office this year, he's instead eyeing 2036.
Montez Ford of The Street Profits has shared a hilarious message today on social media. The veteran appeared with his wife, Women's Tag Team Champion Bianca Belair, at the Hashtag Sports conference earlier this month in New York.
Ford shared several photos from the event today on Instagram and then suggested that he would be running for president in twelve years. The reason for such a delay is Ford intends to beat every iteration of The Bloodline that comes into the company during that time.
"Warming up for my 2036 Presidential Campaign. Yes, I’m running for PRESIDENT in 2036. Right after we beat every new generation of the Bloodline, That tries to trickle in. Peace Deliverer. Match Maker. Bloodline Thinner. A great USA TEZ FOR PREZ," he wrote.
Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins are known as The Street Profits and the duo teamed up with Kevin Owens on last week's edition of WWE SmackDown to defeat The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa via disqualification.
WWE star Montez Ford has hilarious wardrobe malfunction at TV show premiere
Montez Ford and Bianca Belair are the stars of a reality television show on Hulu. The show is titled Love & WWE: Bianca & Montez, and there was a red-carpet premiere for the show earlier this year.
Speaking with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Emily Mae in an exclusive interview at the show's premiere, Ford disclosed a hilarious wardrobe malfunction that happened to him. He noted that he was taking a picture earlier, and accidentally split his pants. Ford joked that the happy couple always has some kind of issue with their wardrobes but finds a way to make it work.
"When I was taking our mixtape picture earlier, I think I split my pants a little bit... I think it's just a thing with us. With us, it's always something with wardrobes, with me, not getting it together, and we, us, figuring it out at the last minute and making it work." [1:34 onwards]
