Major WWE Superstar warns takeover is underway
The WWE roster includes various factions and cliques, some on-screen and others behind the scenes. Following a major announcement on Triple H's latest talent acquisition, one of the most brash superstars has just issued a warning to the rest of the company.
World Wrestling Entertainment currently has several top stars who hail from Down Under. The women's division includes Australian Superstars such as Rhea Ripley, Nia Jax, and Indi Hartwell, while the men's division is represented by Grayson Waller and Bronson Reed. It was just revealed that another top star from the country has signed with WWE - DELTA.
The Dynamite From Down Under took to X shortly after the announcement on Delta Brady finishing up in Australia before she comes to work for WWE. Waller warned that he and his compatriots are taking over.
"The Australian Wrestling takeover has only just begun [Australian flag emoji]," Grayson Waller wrote.
Waller is still teaming with Austin Theory on SmackDown. A-Town Down Under dropped the tag team titles to DIY almost 3 weeks ago, and then lost the rematch 1 week later. Last week's SmackDown saw Theory and Waller lose the 12-minute main event to Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens amid increased speculation on a potential split between the two rising stars.
WWE Superstar warns pro boxer
Grayson Waller has issued a bold warning to professional boxer Terence Crawford. The current Unified Welterweight Champion was in the crowd for last Friday's SmackDown from the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
Cody Rhodes opened Friday's show and discussed The Bloodline. The Undisputed WWE Champion was then interrupted by Waller and Austin Theory. Rhodes ended up taking them on, but A-Town Down Under beat him down, and tossed him out to the floor. Crawford then stood up and handed Cody a chair, allowing him to return to the ring and clean house of the heels to wrap the segment.
The 21st Century Success Story took to X to call out certain pro athletes who want to make it in World Wrestling Entertainment. Waller also issued a bold warning to Crawford and included a photo to mock him.
"Starting to get bored of these ‘athletes’ pretending they belong in our world. Just a heads up @terencecrawford- if you ever step foot in a WWE arena again, I will be there to slap some sense into you," Grayson Waller wrote with the photo below.
This week's taped SmackDown episode will open with a major segment with Crawford. The 36-year-old from Omaha is appearing on WWE TV to promote his next fight. He is scheduled to face Israil Madrimov for the WBA Championship on Saturday, August 3, the same day as WWE SummerSlam.
