Major WWE Superstar will break John Cena and Ric Flair's World Title record, says veteran
John Cena and Ric Flair currently hold the record for most World Championship reigns recognized by WWE at 16. However, a wrestling veteran believes that another superstar will break the record.
The superstar in question is none other than Randy Orton. The Viper is currently a 14-time World Champion. Last week, he had a chance to win his 15th World Title at Bash in Berlin when he challenged Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. Nevertheless, the 44-year-old failed to dethrone The Ring General.
While addressing Orton's defeat on the Straight Talk with The Boss podcast, wrestling veteran Magnum T.A. predicted that The Viper will eventually win more world titles and surpass Flair and Cena:
"[Randy Orton]'s got plenty of time to get those additional title shots. And he, undoubtedly will get them and surpass Flair and Cena," he said. [From 07:25 to 07:34]

Will Randy Orton face John Cena before the latter retires from WWE?
Earlier this year, John Cena surprisingly announced that he would retire from in-ring competition by the end of next year following a retirement tour, during which he will make 30+ WWE appearances.
In a recent interview with Adam's Apple, Randy Orton, a former on-screen rival and real-life friend of Cena, was asked if he would like to go head-to-head with The Franchise Player once again before he retires. The Viper disclosed that he and Cena are leaving the decision for the creative:
"John and I just let Creative do what they do. And if it's meant to be, then, you know, it'll be meant to be. But I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it," he said.
Cena and Orton last went head-to-head in 2017. The match ended in victory for The Cenation Leader. It would be interesting to see if the two future WWE Hall of Famers will share the ring again in the upcoming months.
