Major WWE Superstar will miss SmackDown; sends apology
A major WWE Superstar will be missing tonight's episode of SmackDown in Madison Square Garden. There are three Money in the Bank Qualifying matches and a Bloodline Acknowledgement Ceremony planned for tonight's show.
World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest was supposed to be at tonight's show but shared that he was experiencing delays, earlier today on social media. The Archer of Infamy was scheduled to battle Jey Uso tonight in a dark match but his travel issues have now made that impossible.
The Judgment Day member took to X (formerly Twitter) ahead of WWE SmackDown and shared that he wouldn't be able to attend tonight's edition of the blue brand's show. He wrote that his aircraft hadn't even taken off yet and he was disappointed to miss the show.
"Unfortunately the honor of main eventing The Garden is not possible tonight. Still haven't taken off. Stuck on a plane in a runway. Very disappointed and apologies to my people. This one hurts. Enjoy the show! #SmackDown I'm sure will be awesome," he wrote.

Damian Priest will be defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins next weekend at WWE Money in the Bank Premium Live Event. If Priest loses the match, he will be forced to leave The Judgment Day. However, Seth Rollins can no longer challenge for the title as long as El CampeĆ³n holds it, if he cannot defeat the champ at the premium live event on July 6.
