Major Wyatt Sicks moment from WWE RAW was "too sacred" to be on the show; Uncle Howdy and Bo Dallas' "stark reality" shocked veteran (Exclusive)
A recent Wyatt Sicks segment has received criticism from a veteran who feels the moment was inappropriate for WWE RAW. Bill Apter believes that Bray Wyatt's passing should not be discussed in this manner on the show.
Last year, Bray Wyatt's death marked one of the most tragic moments in WWE history. One of his creations, the Wyatt Sicks faction, debuted with a massive pop last week. In a segment this week, Bo Dallas was shown to be conversing with Uncle Howdy, indicating a split personality. The conversation between them included some very candid thoughts about Bray and the impact his death had on his brother.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's UnSKripted, veteran journalist Bill Apter stated:
"I think if it was just going to be a tribute to Bray Wyatt, every year on the anniversary of his death, they do something like this. Great, great, okay? So now, to have his brother, Bo Dallas, speak honestly about the death, I think that was something that was too sacred to go into a segment about the Wyatt family... It just didn't belong. Most of it is all playing. This brought some stark reality to it that I don't know I was ready to hear." [9:01 onwards]
As of now, it remains to be seen how the Wyatt Sicks storyline unfolds in the coming weeks on WWE.
