"Makes it look dangerous" - Major Triple H change in WWE sold brutal Bloodline moment "as death", explains veteran
WWE veteran Jim Cornette recently questioned a major change made by the Triple H-led creative team for Survivor Series: WarGames 2024. At the premium live event, Roman Reigns' OG Bloodline locked horns with Solo Sikoa's stable.
All of the stars involved in the Men's Survivor Series: WarGames match put on an incredible display. However, a few prominent names came out injured from the contest, including Jimmy Uso and Bronson Reed, as both stars jumped off the top of the steel cage onto their opponents. While Jimmy broke his toe, Reed broke his ankle and needed surgery.
Following these scary spots, Jim Cornette talked about the injuries on an edition of The Jim Cornette Experience. The wrestling veteran said the only good thing WWE did was to showcase the X-rays, which helped the creative team sell the injuries.
Cornette explained that Bronson Reed and his finisher, Tsunami, from the top rope, were already over with fans. The veteran then questioned the Triple H-led creative team's decision to put The Bloodline's associate in a spot where he needed to jump off the top of the Steel Cage which led to his injury.
"The one good thing they did on these [injuries], they showed the X-rays. They highlighted where the injury took place (...) It's good for the business. Makes it look dangerous. It's not good for the talent. But that's the point. They've spent all this time and effort in getting Bronson Reed over. He's a bigger star than he's ever been. They got the splash off the top rope over as death. Why did he need to come off the top of the cage?" Cornette questioned. [3:08 - 3:50]

Former WWE Superstar Stevie Richards explained why Bronson Reed got injured at Survivor Series: WarGames
On an edition of The Stevie Richards Show, the former WWE Superstar said Bronson Reed broke his ankle because CM Punk failed to pull Roman Reigns off the table on time.
"I'm gonna tell you exactly what went wrong right now. The reason why Bronson Reed broke his ankle is because Punk hadn't pulled Roman Reigns off the table which means he [Reed] had to land and then splash the table. He was trying to be safe, land on his feet then do the splash to give them time to pull it off," he said.
It remains to be seen for how long WWE RAW star Bronson Reed will be away from in-ring competition.
