Massive legend to come out of retirement? 3 unexpected stars could join OG Bloodline, says WWE veteran
The OG Bloodline is set to battle Solo Sikoa's version of the stable in a WarGames Match at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024. As both teams search for their fifth member, a wrestling veteran listed the names of three legends who could return to join Roman Reigns' team.
Following the reunion of Sami Zayn and The Usos with Reigns ahead of the upcoming premium live event, the OG Bloodline embarked on a mission to recruit a fifth member last Monday on RAW. While Zayn approached Seth Rollins, Jimmy did the same with Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker. Meanwhile, Jey was seen talking to Rey Mysterio.
On the Busted Open After Dark podcast, former WWE star Tommy Dreamer suggested other names who could join forces with the OG Bloodline, including Goldberg and John Cena. He also claimed The Undertaker could come out of retirement to fight alongside Reigns and Co.
"I was like, maybe, they dropped a hint when Jey said there's nobody really on RAW that really wants to be our partner because then I'm like, 'Man, it might just be Cody!' Then I'm thinking outsiders. And by outsiders, I'm thinking, maybe a Bill Goldberg, which I don't think the fans would be too happy about that,'' he said.
The ECW veteran added:
''Though in a WarGames, with that cage, he could be the partner but it would be hard to see him; John Cena. See, what I did there? Another person; what about the gong, gong, The Undertaker? All different people who have had a past with Roman Reigns.'' [16:48-17:41]
The OG Bloodline to beat Solo Sikoa's faction at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024?
Roman Reigns and The Usos locked horns with Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga of The Bloodline at Crown Jewel. However, they suffered an embarrassing defeat. On the Busted Open podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray claimed the OG Bloodline could suffer the same fate in Canada later this month.
The WWE veteran said that he could see Sikoa's team emerging victorious if The Rock returned to join them.
"Remember, the last time we saw The Rock, he was staring down Roman and Cody at the end of that tag match. So, if Cody's with the babyfaces and standing side-by-side with Roman again and The Rock was with Bloodline 2.0, you could very well see a scenario where the entire Bloodline 2.0 with The Rock standing in the middle is standing over Roman, Cody, and the rest of the OGs. That's your shot," he said.
It will be interesting to see which stars Roman and Solo recruit as fifth members of their respective teams for the upcoming WarGames Match.
