Massive match involving Roman Reigns at Saturday Night's Main Event would be magical, says WWE analyst
On January 25, 2025, WWE will hold Saturday Night's Main Event at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas. WWE analyst Sam Roberts suggested booking a six-man tag team match involving Roman Reigns for the show would be magical.
After defeating Sami Zayn at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14, Drew McIntyre revealed to Seth Rollins on RAW that Roman Reigns is on his list of future targets. Meanwhile, The Visionary is currently involved in a feud with CM Punk. The two will square off on RAW's premiere on Netflix. Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes is engaged in a heated rivalry with Kevin Owens. The two went head-to-head last Saturday. Although The Prizefighter lost, he attacked The American Nightmare after the match.
Speaking on his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Roberts claimed WWE booking Reigns, Rhodes, and Punk against Rollins, McIntyre, and Owens in a six-man tag team match on the upcoming Saturday Night's Main Event:
"It could be a fun Saturday Night's Main Event match to do Seth, Drew, and Kevin vs. Roman, Cody, and Punk. You could also do Seth, Drew, and Kevin vs. Roman and The Usos or Roman, Jey, and Sami depending on Jimmy's injury status, Big Jim. But Roman, Punk, Cody vs. Seth, Drew, and KO could be absolutely magical," he said. [1:23:56 - 1:24:31]
Roman Reigns will fight Solo Sikoa on WWE RAW's premiere on Netflix
Ahead of the upcoming Saturday Night's Main Event, Roman Reigns will square off with Solo Sikoa in Tribal Combat on the premiere episode of Monday Night RAW on Netflix.
On the same episode of his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts suggested The Rock could return to confront The OTC after the latter defeats his cousin to retrieve the Ula Fala:
"Here's where I would do it. Roman Reigns beats Solo Sikoa and has the Ula Fala back as The Tribal Chief, but then The Rock shows up. And The Rock stares him down, gets in the ring, not in the aisle, gets in the ring, stares him down, and maybe, that's how we go off the show," he said.
The 41-year-old analyst also predicted the return of John Cena on RAW's debut on Netflix. It would be interesting to see if his predictions would come true.
