Massive WWE legend returning to unite the "OG" Bloodline and new Bloodline is possible, says ex-writer
Solo Sikoa has led a coup within The Bloodline following Roman Reigns' loss to Cody Rhodes at WWE WrestleMania 40. After The Original Tribal Chief's return, many expect him to reunite the original Bloodline to fight Sikoa's version of the faction. However, former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. has suggested a massive legend might return to unite the two groups.
After assuming leadership of The Bloodline, Sikoa ousted both Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman. Meanwhile, the former NXT North American Champion added Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu. Following his comeback at SummerSlam, Roman Reigns declared war on his former enforcer and his group. Jimmy Uso returned to rejoin forces with The Original Tribal Chief at Bad Blood.
The storyline seems to be heading towards the reunion of the original Bloodline ahead of a potential WarGames match against Sikoa's faction at Survivor Series. Prinze Jr. suggested on his Wrestling with Freddie podcast that The Rock could return to unite the two Bloodline factions under his leadership:
"[When will The Bloodline be one Bloodline?] It could be coming. It could be coming. The Rock might unify the clans," he said. [19:56 - 20:04]
The Rock returned at WWE Bad Blood
The Rock surprisingly returned after Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes' win over Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in the main event of Bad Blood. He stood on the stage and made a cryptic gesture to The Original Tribal Chief, The American Nightmare, and Jimmy Uso.
On his Off The Top podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi commented on The Rock's comeback:
"Anytime The Final Boss comes back, it's good for business. Whether you love him or hate him, the bottom line I know this is that TKO loves him. You see what I'm saying," he said.
WWE analyst Sam Roberts predicted that The Rock would make his next appearance on RAW's first episode on Netflix in January. It will be interesting to see if his prediction comes true.
