Massive WWE legend will return after the new Bloodline's defeat at Survivor Series, says veteran

Solo Sikoa and his new Bloodline faction suffered a huge defeat against the OG Bloodline at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames. A wrestling veteran recently claimed the match's result will lead to the return of a massive legend.

Sikoa has been leading the new Bloodline since the first SmackDown after WrestleMania. Although he led his team to a huge victory over Roman Reigns and The Usos at Crown Jewel, the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief and his associates lost to The OTC and the OG Bloodline in the Men's WarGames match at Survivor Series last Saturday. Speaking on the Rebooked podcast, wrestling veteran Matthew Rehwoldt (FKA Aiden English) suggested The Rock's return to WWE is now imminent.

The Final Boss last made a surprise appearance at Bad Blood to send a subtle message to Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and Jimmy Uso with a cryptic gesture. Sikoa was heard telling his team it was part of the plan as they stood among the crowd watching. Rehwoldt now believes The Rock could return to take control of the new Bloodline following Sikoa's recent failure:

"I feel like it has to be [The Rock returning to take control of the new Bloodline] because going in, from a narrative perspective, especially for the characters of the new Bloodline, unless you're just giving, not giving up on them but just gonna like, 'I don't know what else to do with them,' then all right, let's beat them and focus on this favor thing with Punk and Paul and move on into the sunset. Otherwise, everything seemed way more interesting with the babyfaces losing," he said.

Meanwhile, the former WWE Superstar predicted a massive downfall for the OG Bloodline following their victory at Survivor Series:

"(...) So, I feel like coming with that definitive of a win, unless they like creatively for now washing their hands of the new Bloodline, which seems no, they've invested so much. So, then it's gotta be, yep, a peak for our heroes to get them, you know, the sequel tragedy," he added. [35:57 - 37:22]

Will The Rock return to face Roman Reigns at WWE WrestleMania 41?

The Rock initially returned to WWE earlier this year to face his cousin, Roman Reigns, at WrestleMania 40. However, the plans changed after the fans' backlash over Cody Rhodes' status. Nevertheless, rumors suggested the anticipated clash between The Final Boss and The OTC could happen at next year's Show of Shows.

In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, the former Undisputed WWE Champion addressed the possibility of squaring off with The Rock. He claimed it could happen if the fans want it and The Final Boss is interested:

"That goes back to, there is a lot of meat on the bone. If Dwayne can’t come in and 'boom, this is how it is,' that's when you know you're cooking up with good ingredients. That's why he is tied in the way he is and part of the board. We're at an unprecedented time right now. Business is great and we want to continue to push things up. If that's what the people want, and the People's Champ is down, I'm sure we can make something happen," Reigns said.

It would be interesting to see what would be next for Solo Sikoa's Bloodline following their loss at Survivor Series and whether The Rock will indeed return to WWE take over the group's leadership.
