Massive WWE star won't compete in the Royal Rumble; will also miss Elimination Chamber, says Sam Roberts
WWE analyst Sam Roberts recently discussed the potential return of a massive superstar. He claimed that the mentioned wrestler would not compete in the upcoming Men's Royal Rumble or the Elimination Chamber match.
Earlier this year, The Rock returned to join The Bloodline and feud with Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins heading into WrestleMania 40. On night one of The Show of Shows, he teamed up with Roman Reigns to defeat The American Nightmare and The Visionary. The Final Boss confronted Rhodes on RAW After WrestleMania to inform him that he would go after him upon his return from hiatus.
Earlier this month, the 52-year-old legend made a surprise appearance at Bad Blood to seemingly send a threatening message to the Undisputed WWE Champion, Reigns, and Jimmy Uso with a cryptic gesture.
While discussing The Rock's potential participation in next year's Royal Rumble on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Sam Roberts predicted that The Final Boss would likely not compete in the 2025 Men's Royal Rumble or the Elimination Chamber match.
"Rock's not gonna fight in the Royal Rumble. Rock's not jumping in the Chamber. That's not gonna happen. I don't think so," he said. [From 20:36 to 20:40]

Dave Meltzer recently addressed The Rock potentially returning to WWE to win the Royal Rumble
On a recent episode of the Keepin' It 100 podcast, Dave Meltzer discussed the possibility of The Rock returning to win the Men's Royal Rumble and challenge Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41. He claimed that although the idea may sound "weird," it is not a "non-viable situation."
The veteran journalist pointed out that the same idea was discussed earlier when The Rock returned initially to face Roman Reigns. He added that the final decision would depend on what The Final Boss would want to do:
"Like, the ultimate idea is Dwayne comes in and wins the Rumble and earns his title shot, you know. I mean, that was like, but does he want to do that? So, that's up to Dwayne. If Dwayne wants to win the Rumble, he's gonna win the Rumble. So, I guess that's an answer is if Dwayne wants to it will be him a 100%."
Sam Roberts predicted that The Rock would not show up again until the first episode of WWE RAW on Netflix in January. It would be interesting to see what is next for the WWE legend.
