Matt Hardy sends an emotional message about a WWE Hall of Famer

Matt Hardy paid an emotional tribute to a WWE Hall of Famer. It has been 19 years since this legend passed away.

Eddie Guerrero is widely regarded as one of the greatest pro wrestlers to have ever lived. The veteran was one of the best in-ring performers and had incredible mic skills. To this day, fans and wrestlers talk and reminisce about his matches.

Unfortunately, Eddie Guerrero passed away in 2005 due to heart failure. Last week marked the 19th anniversary of his death, and several wrestlers paid tribute to the legend.

Matt Hardy spoke about him on his The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, where he said Eddie was laid-back and humble, and he never gave off the impression that he was great. He further said that the WWE Hall of Famer loved to make people laugh with his jokes or silly antics and was a pleasure to be around.

"Eddie was very laid-back. He was very humble. His humility was just off the charts," Hardy said. "As great as he was, you never saw that. He had a great sense of humor. He loved to put smiles on faces. If he could crack a joke or do something funny to put a smile on a face, he always would. He was just a good guy through and through, someone who was always a pleasure to deal with every single day. Especially once he got everything together in life, he was just constantly a pleasure to be around." [H/T WrestlingInc.]

Rey Mysterio also paid tribute to WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero on his death anniversary

Rey Mysterio was one of Eddie Guerrero's best friends. They were like brothers and often spent time outside the ring together. Even their families would spend time together.

Mysterio and Guerrero were also Tag Team Champions at one time. The two WWE Hall of Famers also had quite the feud before Eddie's passing. These two men even fought in a ladder match for the custody of Dominik. While this feud was storyline-based, their friendship was real.

Hence, on the 19th anniversary of Eddie's death, Rey Mysterio sent an emotional message about the former WWE Champion.

"RIP ✝️ Eddie. 19 yrs & will forever live in our ❤️ 🔥. We miss you a lot WeeWeeto," Mysterio wrote.
