Matt and Jeff Hardy discuss possible WWE return (Exclusive)
Matt and Jeff Hardy recently reunited in TNA after leaving AEW. In an exclusive interview, the legendary tag team addressed whether they could return to WWE as members of the NXT roster.
TNA has developed a working relationship with WWE in recent months, with wrestlers including Joe Hendry and Jordynne Grace appearing in NXT. The exciting cross-promotional arrangement has led to speculation that more TNA talents could wrestle on WWE programming.
Speaking to Sportskeeda Wrestling Senior Editor Bill Apter, Matt Hardy confirmed he would like to win the NXT tag titles with his brother Jeff:
"In wrestling never say never, and I will say that the NXT Tag Team titles are not on our list of titles that we've won, so we are interested in that. And I think this crossover between NXT and TNA's great. It's exciting, it's unpredictable, and I think that's a positive for the business and the industry." [2:10 – 2:26]

Jeff Hardy's thoughts on returning to WWE

Asked about a possible crossover appearance on NXT, Jeff made it clear he would like to wrestle for the WWE brand:
"I'm a fan of first-time-evers. Us in NXT, just the vision of that, it's very exciting to me." [2:28 – 2:33]
In their most recent match, Matt and Jeff Hardy defeated Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards via disqualification on the July 18 episode of TNA iMPACT. Jeff was stretchered out of the television taping after suffering a storyline injury.
