Matt Riddle reveals bizarre idea he pitched for his WWE character
Matt Riddle recently shared a unique idea he pitched for his character in WWE. The veteran was released by the promotion in September 2023.
In an interview with Brandon Walker on Barstool Rasslin', Matt Riddle revealed he pitched a bizarre idea for his WWE character. The Original Bro disclosed that he wanted a dirt bike instead of a scooter for his character. Riddle noted that he pitched the idea to Vince McMahon, who suggested a scooter.
The former United States Champion used the scooter during his time with the company and was often seen riding it in his segments.
"You know, it wasn’t my idea. I actually suggested a dirt bike. I had the idea of the dirt bike, and Vince—Vince was in complete control at that time—and he’s like, ‘A scooter?’ Then I go, 'What about a skateboard?' But then everybody in WWE was doing skateboards, so I didn’t do that," Riddle said. [H/T: Ringside News]

Matt Riddle reveals he wants to face WWE legend
Former WWE star Matt Riddle recently shared that he would like to have a match against Goldberg someday.
Goldberg appeared at Bad Blood last month and confronted World Heavyweight Champion Gunther. It was announced ahead of Crown Jewel that Da Man would be having a retirement match in 2025.
In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter and Dr. Chris Featherstone, Riddle shared that he would like to have a match against the Hall of Famer. The former champion also noted that he was affordable and up for anything.
"I would love that. I know I'm affordable. I don't know how much Bill costs. Like I said, his bank account's way bigger than mine, so he'll probably be a little more than me. But, yeah, I'm always up for anything, dude, and I think we would have a great match." [From 08:41 – 08:56]
