Mayor Sadiq Khan shares major update on WrestleMania in London
The city of London has been anticipating the possibility of hosting WrestleMania in the future. Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, recently met with WWE officials and shared a major update about the city's chances of hosting The Show of Shows.
John Cena made a surprise appearance at last year's Money in the Bank Premium Live Event in London, United Kingdom. Cena campaigned for The Great Wen to finally host The Grandest Stage of Them All, the first one outside the United States of America.
It is also one of Mayor Sadiq Khan's goals for his city and he recently met Triple H and Nick Khan to discuss the matter. Here's what the 53-year-old wrote on his official X/Twitter handle:
"Delighted to have met with Paul '@TripleH' Levesque and @WWE President Nick Khan to discuss making London WrestleMania’s first international destination. The meeting was really productive. Talks will continue about how we could turn our ambition into a reality."

WWE President Nick Khan and WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H confirmed that the meeting with Mayor Sadiq Khan was fruitful. They listened to the Mayor's project wherein he wants London to be the "entertainment capital of Europe."
WWE WrestleMania 41 to be held in Las Vegas
Following the success of WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, WWE will bring the spectacle to Las Vegas, Nevada, next year. The Allegiant Stadium, the home stadium of the Las Vegas Raiders, will host The Show of Shows on April 19 and 20, 2025.
Minneapolis was the initial favorite to host WrestleMania 41, but Sin City won the bid and will now host the mega event next year. Las Vegas also has a good relationship with the UFC, which is now part of the TKO Group Holdings following the acquisition of Endeavor last year.
"Las Vegas is the Sports and Entertainment capital of the world. Allegiant Stadium has proven to be even greater than the A+ venue Las Vegas guaranteed it would be," WWE President Nick Khan said in a statement back in May.
Despite next year's WrestleMania still being held in the United States of America, WWE continues to become global by bringing its premium live events to locations such as Saudi Arabia, Australia, France, and Germany.
