Former WWE manager criticizes match on SmackDown

Wrestling legend Dutch Mantell believes the promotion made a mistake during the Gauntlet Match last Friday night.

Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa were supposed to compete in the Gauntlet Match but a change was made at the beginning of the show. Jacob Fatu replaced Tonga Loa due to an eye injury and The Bloodline were the final team in the match. The faction emerged victorious and will be challenging Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa tonight on SmackDown for the WWE Tag Team Championship.

Speaking on last week's episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk podcast, Mantell agreed with co-host Rick Ucchino that The Bloodline should have entered the Gauntlet Match first to make them look even stronger.

"I agree with you. They would have started first and went through the whole deal, now they have beaten several teams and the last team, a fresh team. So, I agree with you there but I don't know who put together but, there was a better way to put that together." [44:00 onwards]
