Mia Yim reacts to recent WWE losses with defiant message following RAW
Mia Yim (Michin) shared a defiant message following this week's episode of WWE RAW. The veteran is coming off of back to back losses in recent weeks on WWE SmackDown.
Nia Jax successfully defended her WWE Women's Championship against Mia Yim in a Street Fight on the August 30 edition of the blue brand. Chelsea Green also defeated Yim last Friday on SmackDown in a singles match due to interference from Piper Niven. Following last night's edition of RAW, Yim took to Instagram to send a message to her doubters and vowed to prove them wrong moving forward.
"Keep doubting me, I’ll prove you wrong 😈," she wrote.
The 35-year-old has never captured a title during her time in WWE. She was released by the promotion in 2021 but returned the following year as a member of The O.C. faction alongside AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson. AJ Styles has not competed on the blue brand since he was defeated by Randy Orton in the first round of the King of the Ring tournament on May 10.
Mia Yim reveals Triple H played a pivotal role in her return to WWE
SmackDown star Mia Yim recently shared that Triple H being in control was a key factor in her deciding to return to the promotion in 2022.
In an interview with Alistair McGeorge of Metro, Yim stated that she views Triple H as a protective father figure. She added that she felt like she could trust him to do what was best for her career upon returning to the company.
"Hunter, Triple H, in NXT he felt like a protective father figure. It was like, 'Oh, well, I know how Hunter has treated us at NXT', and seeing all my friends come back and knowing that he has more control, I feel comfortable and I can fully trust him to not fumble [me]," said Michin. Mia Yim has not lost her confidence despite coming up short in recent weeks on SmackDown. It will be interesting to see what the company has planned for her in the weeks ahead.
