Mia Yim reveals hilarious reason why she must win major title at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event
Mia Yim (Michin) revealed a hilarious reason why she must win a major title match tonight at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event. The 35-year-old has never won any championship gold during her time in WWE.
Yim defeated Tiffany Stratton this past Friday on SmackDown to advance to the final of the Women's United States Championship Tournament. Chelsea Green defeated Bayley to advance to the final as well, and the two stars will be squaring off tonight at Saturday Night's Main Event to crown the inaugural Women's United States Champion.
Ahead of tonight's show, the promotion shared a video of Mia Yim arriving at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. The SmackDown Superstar hilariously noted that she had to win the Women's United States Championship tonight because Chelsea Green was from Canada.
"Today is the day that history is going to be made. Now, either win or lose, we are still making history. But that doesn't mean I am any less nervous because I have to win the Women's United States Championship. Because if I don't, a Canadian will win, and we can't have that. We got this, locked in," said Mia Yim.

Former WWE manager reacts to Mia Yim's victory on SmackDown
Wrestling legend Dutch Mantell was surprised by Mia Yim's victory over Tiffany Stratton on this week's episode of WWE SmackDown.
Speaking on the latest episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk, the veteran revealed that he was surprised by the result of last night's match. However, Mantell added that it was in a good way, and suggested that WWE may be planning on giving Mia Yim a push.
"Well, I was surprised too. When you look at the screen, she goes to the ring, you automatically assume, okay Michin's getting beat again. They had a good match. For what it was, they had no heat between them really, that much. They had a good match and Michin comes out on top. I'm sitting there like what? What the hell! But they surprised me in a good way. I think they may get behind Michin a little bit and see what they can do with her," he said. [11:08 onwards]

Chelsea Green is a former Women's Tag Team Champion but has never captured a singles title during her time in the promotion. It will be fascinating to see which star is crowned the first Women's United States Champion at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event.
