Michael Cole alarmed after visible bruise is seen on top WWE star at Bash in Berlin 2024
Michael Cole pointed out that a top WWE Superstar had a visible bruise on the shoulder and upon a second glance, it could potentially be concerning. This incident occurred as Bash in Berlin was coming to an end.
The premium live event is officially in the books and it will go down with mixed receptions. While the CM Punk-Drew McIntyre Strap Match stole the show by quite a margin, the overall pacing was considerably slower than shows like SummerSlam which had a longer run time and deeper match card.
The main event saw Gunther retain the World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton, getting a legitimate win this time to end any question marks surrounding their previous match. However, Michael Cole pointed out that there was an issue with Gunther's shoulders.
You can see momentarily in the video below when The Ring General extends his hands. The arm that's not being extended is the focus here as there's a visible bruise that Michael Cole previously highlighted.
We can only hope that it's not a serious injury. There were already visible marks on the chest that The World Heavyweight Champion had before the bell rang in Berlin. These battle scars were from his wars against the likes of Ilja Dragunov and Sheamus during the Road to Bash in Berlin tour.
In the clip below, right at the end, around the 17-second mark, you can catch another glimpse of the bruise.
Gunther wrestles in an incredibly physical style and his battle scars show on himself and his opponents.
