Michael Cole had some shocking revelations for fans during WWE RAW this week. He revealed that a popular star thought that his career was over.
Cole spoke about the injury history of the War Raiders during their match.
Michael Cole revealed that earlier this year when Ivar suffered a herniated disc, he had thought that his career was at an end. He was under the impression that he would never be able to wrestle again. However, that changed when the doctor revealed that the disc had gone out instead of in, and this allowed him to recover and wrestle again.
"Ivar back in 2020 suffered temporary paralysis. He had to have neck surgery, double neck fusion. Earlier this year he suffered a herniated disc, he thought his career was over, that he would never wrestle again. But the disc went out instead of in, the doctors gave him the okay, he got a second lease in his career."
He went on to talk about Erik and his history of injuries as well.
Michael Cole went on to reveal that because of this, earlier when he had talked to the War Raiders, they had told him that they had to change their offense. The tag team changed how they wrestled so that they could continue with their careers.
