Michael Cole was shocked by Brock Lesnar's actions at WrestleMania, WWE Hall of Famer reveals; didn't see it coming (Exclusive)

Michael Cole has seen a lot over his WWE career, but one moment with Brock Lesnar shocked him. A Hall of Famer has spoken about it.

The Undertaker lost to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30 and it was something that no one was ready for. It still remains one of the biggest shocks in wrestling history, ending The Deadman's famous streak at 21-1. Now, JBL has shared a story from the night.

JBL spoke on Backstage Pass, saying that at WrestleMania 30, neither he nor Michael Cole had an idea what was happening in the Undertaker match against Lesnar.

"That night, Michael Cole and I, neither one of us got a finish for Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker. I just assumed the Undertaker was going to win, and so did Michael. When Brock pins the Undertaker, Michael Cole says something to the effect of, 'And the streak...' He was going to say continues, is what he was going to say. Then we saw the three and Michael said, 'has ended.' He just looked at me, like, 'What the f***. Oh my God.'" (37:23 - 37:47)

JBL said that when the moment finally sank in for him and Cole, they were both shocked and looked around at the fan reaction around them.

"And all of a sudden we realize the streak has ended, then we saw the reaction and the crowd. Sometimes your reaction is so much better when you don't know what's out there." (37:47 - 37:58)

JBL went on to say that he was emotional when he realized that the streak was over, given how much The Undertaker had put into it. He congratulated him and hugged him in the back after the match with Brock Lesnar.
