Michin explains strategy for recent WWE SmackDown win
WWE Superstar Michin secured a major win on a recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown. The former member of The O.C. shared a social media update to explain what helped her emerge victorious.
On the go-home edition of the blue brand ahead of WWE Survivor Series: WarGames, the 35-year-old competed in the first-round qualifying match in the Women's United States Championship Tournament. She advanced to the next round after defeating Piper Niven and Lash Legend in a Triple Threat contest.
Earlier today, Michin took to her Instagram account to post two pictures of herself from the match, delivering a Moonsault on her opponents standing outside the squared circle. In the caption, the SmackDown Superstar pointed out that she had to dig deep and bring out some old moves to secure the win against two relatively bigger opponents.
"When you got to go against TWO powerhouses… got to dig deep in my bag to bring out some of my old stuff.. #wwe #smackdown #womensuschampionship #michinthemaniac," she wrote.

Michin delivers a strong message following her win on WWE SmackDown
Michin inked a deal with the global juggernaut in 2018. She was then released from her contract in 2021 before re-signing with the wrestling promotion in 2022. The former TNA Knockouts Champion has yet to win her first title in WWE, despite being on the roster for several years now.
After defeating Piper Niven and Lash Legend, the SmackDown Superstar inched one step closer to becoming the inaugural WWE Women's United States Champion. Following her win, she spoke to Byron Saxton in a backstage interview.
She brought up missing her chance to win the NXT Women's North American Title while claiming she would not fumble the opportunity to become the first-ever WWE Women's United States Champion.
"I will not be missing now. I've fumbled my opportunities to become the first-ever women's NXT North American champion. This time, I will not fumble becoming the first ever Women's US Champion. This is not a want but a need I will be the first," she said.
Michin will face Ms. Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton in the next round on the upcoming edition of Friday Night SmackDown. Although The Buff Barbie is a former NXT Women's Champion, she is also searching for her first title on the main roster.
With her Money in the Bank contract intact, the 25-year-old will look to oust her opponent to be in contention to become a double champion on the main roster.
