Mika Rotunda pens an emotional note after Wyatt Sicks finally arrives on WWE RAW
WWE pulled it off successfully. The ambiance. The single take around the backstage area where each member was surrounded by a violent mess. It was everything fans of Windham Rotunda—best known as Bray Wyatt—could have hoped for.
Monday Night RAW this week culminated with Jey Uso qualifying for the Money in the Bank match, followed by the Wyatt Sicks debut. Evidently, there were five members including Uncle Howdy. The rest of them are believed to be Nikki Cross, Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis, and the original Wyatt Family member, Erick Rowan. Each of them (except Cross) were wearing masks.
Mika Rotunda, Bray's sister, penned an emotional note on Instagram earlier today. She tried her best to articulate the pain of missing Wyatt, while at the same time being proud of Taylor Rotunda—Bo Dallas/Uncle Howdy.
"Windham [Bray Wyatt] talked a lot about hurting in his character. He would describe real life pain and scenarios as a way to kind of harden, inspire or shape his future. He turned pain into a positive, through creativity and expression. Last night, Taylor debuted for the first time as Uncle Howdy, without Windham. This was their dream, their vision. Their fairytale to fulfill. He carried this on his back. But more importantly in his heart," Mika wrote.
She felt Bray Wyatt's presence watching the new arrival of Uncle Howdy and crew in the closing moments of WWE RAW:
"As siblings, we’ve always had a strong cord attachment to one another. As the lights when out in the arena and I watched from my TV, my pulse raised. My eyes welled. I felt every ioata with him. While also feeling this warmth, that can only be described as Windham. I’m so incredibly proud of Taylor."

The debut was reminiscent of Extreme Rules 2022. That event featured the return of Bray Wyatt after being released by WWE the year prior. The Eater of Worlds resurfaced, much to the delight of the Philly crowd, along with live figures of the Firefly Fun House. How this new angle fairs in the coming weeks bears watching.
Jey Uso wants nothing to do with Wyatt Sicks on WWE RAW
In May, WWE flew to Lyon, France, where Jey Uso challenged World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest. The bout saw Mr. Main Event receiving a warm reception from the crowd, with them using the fireflies. Jey later revealed that he got the blessings of Bray Wyatt's former fiancee JoJo Offerman.
After what transpired in the closing moments of RAW, though, Uso would rather return the fireflies than want anything to do with Wyatt Sicks. The lifeless bodies of many WWE Superstars were seen, presumably battered by the new villains of Monday nights.
"I don't want no smoke with them. I mean, for all I care, they can have the fireflies back because I want no problem with them. But I'm very happy I did activate the fireflies in this thing, shout-out to my boy, still my boy, still gonna show love to Bray Wyatt. But his family is here now, that means I gotta go," he said.
Wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer, among plenty of other veterans of the industry, voiced concern over the faction's booking owing to their superhuman characters.
