Montez Ford makes personal announcement after WWE star gets married
Montez Ford is one of the top stars in WWE and is recognized for his potential as a singles competitor. The star took to Instagram recently after another star got married.
Angelo Dawkins married recently and posted pictures of the same on social media. The star had been dating Grace Russo for several years and the two even had a child together four years back. Now, Russo is about to have their second child and the two have gotten married. The SmackDown star made the announcement on social media. It was originally believed that they got married in 2018, but that was apparently not the case.
Montez Ford confirmed the announcement and made one of his own. He revealed that for the wedding ceremony, he was the one who was the officiant for the wedding. He officiated them and posted a picture with his tag teammate, his new wife, and Bianca Belair.
"THEY TIED THE KNOT! So honored & happy my brother asked me to officiate him & his bride into their marriage. I’m beyond happy for these two & may God Bless & lead you all to eternal happiness! CONGRATULATIONS! And now let the entire world say, AMEN. -Reverend Doctor Pastor Ford."
It's presumed that Ford got officially licensed online to perform the ceremony for his friend and teammate.
Montez Ford has spoken about a potential solo run in WWE
Speaking in an interview, Montez Ford talked about going on a singles run. He said that he would like to be separated from Dawkins by being drafted to different shows instead of a huge feud or breakup.
"I feel like for myself and Dawkins, we have so much that we're still trying to obtain as a tag team," Ford said. "But I will say, if that opportunity happens, and we just spoke of when it comes to the draft, myself could be drafted to one show, he could be drafted to one show, so we both always talk about if the opportunity presents itself, like we're going."
So far it's not happened, but fans clearly expect to see Ford as a singles wrestler at some point soon.
