On SmackDown, The Street Profits are set to face DIY and Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa to defend the WWE Tag Team Championship.

In a video posted on Instagram, Montez Ford stated that when it came time to compete in the ladder match, they would not be "reaching" anymore. The stars were confident of their ability to succeed and said they'd be champions.

"Me and Dawkins have been climbing for a very, very, very long time. Come next week, we are not reaching anymore."

On the other hand, the Bloodline reacted to it in the video, saying they knew that DIY and the Street Profits would be climbing the ladders to take the titles from them, but it "ain't going to happen."

"Next week, Street Profits and DIY start climbing the ladders of success to take these titles from us... Not gonna happen. Street Profits and DIY will acknowledge The Bloodline," Tonga said.

Montez Ford shared the video with a very emotional message, claiming that they would be champions once again.

"TOMORROW NIGHT ON SMACKDOWN IN NASHVILLE TRIPLE THREAT TAG TEAM LADDER MATCH FOR THE WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS CHAOS. VIOLENCE. But more importantly, STREET PROFITS WILL BE YOUR NEW TAG CHAMPIONS. And We will celebrate on BROADWAY till the sun kisses us. Because WE WANT THE SMOKE."

Montez Ford and the Street Profits have a big job to do against Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa

The passionate promise is a big one for the star, but remains to be seen if Montez Ford can deliver when facing Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa.

Not only will DIY be involved, but Bloodline will always provide support when the members need it. The numbers games are definitely against Ford, but the chaos and violence of a ladder match may be precisely what is required for the win.
