Multi-time WWE champion mocks Rey Mysterio; it's not Dominik Mysterio
WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio's journey is commendable, to say the least, as The Master of 619 has done it all in the industry. Recently, The New Day's Xavier Woods mocked the veteran on his birthday.
Earlier this year, The New Day crossed paths with the Latino World Order and had a few matches. In one of those clashes, Woods accidentally ripped Mysterio's mask off and scored a win. This didn't sit well with the veteran, and Xavier Woods recently mocked the WWE Hall of Famer on his birthday and reminded him of the past incident.
Today, Rey Mysterio turned 50, and The Master of 619 received wishes from several superstars in the industry. The multi-time WWE Tag Team Champion mocked the veteran and suggested someone should get the multi-time World Champion a tighter match for matches:
"Someone should get him a tighter mask for his birthday," Woods wrote.
CM Punk takes a shot at WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio
Over a decade ago, CM Punk and Rey Mysterio were fierce rivals in the Stamford-based promotion and put a lot at stake when they faced each other in a one-on-one contest. However, times have changed, and the two veterans are friends and often take shots at each other.
In an appearance on Culture Kings, the multi-time World Champion jokingly took a shot at his friend and stated he would never leave his kids with Rey Mysterio considering how Dominik Mysterio turned out. Moreover, many stars have joked about The Master of 619's parenting after Dirty Dom's antics on weekly television:
"Definitely not Rey Mysterio, have you seen his kids? Kids would be felons after like one babysitting," said Punk.
The 50-year-old veteran has faced his son twice at WrestleMania and scored victories on both occasions. Meanwhile, CM Punk also faced Dirty Dom in 2023 during a live event. It'll be interesting to see what's next for The Second City Saint in the Stamford-based promotion.
