Multi-time WWE World Champion "didn't get enough credit," says The Undertaker

WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker has often given his honest opinion of superstars and regimes that he has worked with and under. Recently, the veteran spoke about Kurt Angle and stated that he didn't get enough credit.

Kurt Angle rose to the top of the card a while after making his debut for the Stamford-based promotion. Sadly, the star was released from the company after eight years and made TNA Wrestling his new home for over a decade before returning to WWE.

During an appearance on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, Taker spoke highly of the six-time WWE World Champion. The veteran also stated that Angle doesn't get enough credit, even after transitioning into a professional wrestler, and kept his ego aside as an amateur wrestler.

"I mean, he gets his flowers, but he didn't get enough credit for how good he really was. He was willing, and it's strange because of his background. Like a lot of times, shooters or, you know the amateurs, they can't get that mentality out of their head and become professional wrestlers at a high level. They just can't do it," Taker said.

The WWE Hall of Famer also said he had really good matches with The Olympic Gold Medalist.

"I had some really really really good matches with Kurt, he was a machine man. He was another guy that I really had a lot of fun working with and enjoyed working with. But he was so good. He could cut promos. I mean, his vignettes. And his backstage stuff was, I mean, next level and his work was so solid," Taker said. (H/T Chris Van Vliet)

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle is open to returning and managing Chad Gable

Kurt Angle is no stranger to factions, as the veteran has led Team Angle and Main Event Mafia when he was an active competitor. Moreover, the veteran has over two decades of experience when it comes to professional wrestling.

Earlier this year, Kurt Angle spoke about Chad Gable's current run on Monday Night RAW. On The Kurt Angle Show, the WWE Hall of Famer agreed to be the star's manager.

"I think that would be a great idea. If I were going to do it, it has to be worth it to me." [15:58 - 1607]

Recently, Alpha Academy cut ties with Chad Gable after the star lost to Braun Strowman on Monday Night RAW.
