MVP shares interesting update following recent rumors amid WWE absence
WWE Superstar MVP has been absent from television for nearly three months. The former Hurt Business member shared an update on social media following recent reports suggesting he is still signed with the wrestling promotion despite his prolonged absence.
Montel Vontavious Porter recently underwent stem cell treatment in the hope of returning to in-ring action. The 50-year-old broke the internet last month when he openly criticized WWE Head of Creative Triple H for deciding against the reunion of The Hurt Business.
MVP recently took to Instagram to share a video he shot at a tattoo shop owned by former WWE Superstar Batista in Tampa. The former United States Champion praised the place while also revealing that he got a tattoo done:
"Getting a new tattoo today at the @davebautista owned tattoo shop @dcsocietyink in Tampa!!!! What an awesome studio! Classy, professional. Also, trying out this numbing cream to see if it works! 🤣🤣🤣 I hope I don't have to grit my teeth today and endure the bite of the needle! 🤙🏽🤷🏽♂️," he wrote.

Wrestling veteran speculates why MVP has been absent from WWE television
MVP joined forces with Omos as his manager after parting ways with Bobby Lashley. Unfortunately, the two superstars have not featured regularly on WWE television.
On his Keeping it 100 podcast, Konnan stated that he believed that MVP might have said something backstage that did not go well with people in the back. The wrestling veteran also pointed out that the former Tag Team Champion and Omos have not featured on television despite regular appearances at House Shows:
"I wonder if backstage he said something that was on his mind, which I doubt because I would think he'd be smart enough now to understand being given a second chance, and he's doing good. I wonder if he mouthed off or said the wrong thing. But I thought he was great on TV, and it doesn't matter who you put him with. He knows how to get them over. He looks like a professional... Let me tell you, what's weird? I saw him with Omos on house shows. So, they were still using him. I wonder why they weren't using him on TV if they already had them on the road," said Konnan. Montel Vontavious Porter last competed inside the squared circle in July 2022. It remains to be seen if and when the veteran performer will be part of in-ring action.
