"My champion" - Judgment Day member Damian Priest breaks character to send a message to top WWE Superstar
Judgment Day member Damian Priest sent a two-word message to a top superstar. The superstar in question is the reigning WWE Women's Champion, Bayley.
Priest is the reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion, capturing the title at WrestleMania XL after cashing in his Money in the Bank contract on Drew McIntyre, who defeated Seth Rollins to win the title for the very first time in his career.
On Instagram, Bayley's post caught Priest's attention and he broke character to acknowledge The Role Model as his champion. Although cheered by fans, Priest is technically still a heel. Therefore, going out of his way to back Bayley seems a bit out of character for El Campeon.
"My champion!" wrote Priest.

At the upcoming SummerSlam Premium Live Event, Bayley will defend the WWE Women's Championship against Nia Jax. At WrestleMania XL, she won the title by dethroning IYO SKY.
Bill Apter wasn't impressed with Damian Priest's latest match against Braun Strowman
On the latest edition of Monday Night RAW, Damian Priest was victorious over Braun Strowman in a singles match. However, Bill Apter wasn't impressed with Priest's booking, stating that the World Heavyweight Champion should've been the closing act of the show.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's UnSKripted, Apter explained his issue with the booking. He said:
"In the old days, in the old days that would have been, it's gonna be a special non-title match. If the World Champion was in the middle of the show. But I agree with you, the World Heavyweight Championship should have been the closing match. And here you have Braun Strowman who maybe a lot of fans think this guy might be a threat to the title. But it just seemed like another match, didn't it?"
At SummerSlam, Priest will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Gunther. He has successfully defended the title against Jey Uso, Drew McIntyre, and Seth Rollins so far.
