Naomi posts an old photo with ex-WWE star while paying tribute to Scott Hall

Naomi once again finds herself on the cusp of Championship glory in her feud with Women's Champion Nia Jax. Posting a throwback photo along with an ex-WWE star, she paid tribute to Scott Hall.

October 20 would have marked the 66th birthday of the late great Scott Hall, who unfortunately passed away two years ago. The positive influence that Scott Hall has had on the WWE locker room can't be overstated, and Naomi, like many other stars, paid tribute to the legend.

She posted an old photo featuring herself, the veteran Tamina, and ex-WWE star Sasha Banks, aka Mercedes Mone, in AEW:

This was from their days together as Team B.A.D in 2015 - the faction that gave Sasha Banks her start on the WWE main roster.

Naomi admitted it was "weird" not being a part of The Bloodline

Naomi was away from WWE for a relatively short period between mid-2022 and early 2024. When she was asked about not being in The Bloodline as she is married to Jimmy Uso, her response was surprising.

In an interview with Inside The Ropes, the former SmackDown Women's Champion admitted it was a little weird not to be included in The Bloodline as she is with many members all the time. She added that if it does happen, she wants the timing to be right:

"I do [get the Paul Heyman wisdom] and it is a little weird that I’m not in it [The Bloodline] because I’m always there with them. I’m always there, I’m always around, I’m always, you know, annoying them so, maybe later down the road or maybe there’s somewhere for me to come in with the boys, with Jon and Josh [Jimmy & Jey Uso], who knows? But definitely something I would look forward to. I would want it to be the right time, you know? And done properly," said Naomi.

The former TNA Knockouts World Champion has arguably been one of Triple H's most successful rehires, and she has constantly found herself near the WWE Women's Championship picture this year. She's in a good position, and considering this quote was from 2022, she might have a different perspective on it. Still, her comment about possibly joining The Bloodline being well-timed is worth exploring.
