Natalya praises WWE Superstar after impressive submission victory; reveals reason behind improvement

Wrestling veteran Natalya recently praised a fellow WWE Superstar following her impressive submission win over a former champion. However, the star has only wrestled in just one televised match in 2024.

WWE Superstar B-Fab is a regular fixture on the blue brand alongside the Street Profits. The 33-year-old has never competed in a match on SmackDown. Her only in-ring appearance till the start of this month was on the February 19 edition of Monday Night RAW in the Elimination Chamber Qualifying Last Chance Battle Royal.

B-Fab returned to the ring after over eight months to team up with Michin and face the duo of Chelsea Green and Piper Niven at house shows during the recently concluded WWE Tour of the UK. The two tag teams competed four times in as many nights, with the former Women's Tag Team Champions losing all four contests. An X (fka Twitter) user recently posted a clip of one of the matches, showing B-Fab winning the bout for her team via submission.

The X post credited B-Fab's training with Natalya, for her improved performance. The clip of the impressive submission finish was reshared by the former Hart Dynasty member on her X account. She further claimed that the SmackDown Superstar had been working very hard and that she could not wait for B-Fab to make it big.

"She’s been putting in so much work every week and staying ready. I can’t wait for you to keep shining @TheVibeBri [B-Fab]💛," she wrote.

Popular NXT Superstar calls Natalya her wrestling mom

Natalya is one of the most experienced in-ring performers on the WWE roster. Although she has been making limited television appearances, the former Divas Champion has been working and training regularly with the younger stars behind the scenes.

During a recent appearance on the Mark Moses Show, NXT Superstar Lola Vice opened up about her experience of competing with Natalya earlier this year. The 26-year-old said she respected Nattie and referred to her as a legend. She claimed her match with the veteran would forever be in her memory and called her her "wrestling mom."

"That was incredible. Natalya put in a good fight. She brought it. She's a legend. I respect her. Thankfully, I got the win that day and was able to knock her out. That is a memory I'll take with me forever. I think of Natalya as like my wrestling mom. I just pick her brain and ask her so many questions. She is so knowledgeable, amazing, and talented. Fighting her was a dream come true because I used to see her on Total Divas. It was full circle for me. I'm glad I got to experience this with her," said Lola Vice.

Nattie recently competed in the Women's Battle Royal to determine the number-one contender for Liv Morgan's Women's World Championship. She failed to make much impact and was eliminated by Shayna Baszler. It remains to be seen if the elimination will lead to the WWE veteran competing against the Pure Fusion Collective again.
