Natalya sends message to Drew McIntyre after he wrestles European tour with major injury
WWE veteran Natalya has sent a message to Drew McIntyre after the veteran suffered an injury at WrestleMania XL but has still managed to make all of his dates for the fans.
Drew McIntyre defeated Seth Rollins during Night Two of WrestleMania 40 but his title reign was over moments later. Damian Priest finally cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to become the new World Heavyweight Champion after CM Punk attacked The Scottish Warrior ringside. McIntyre suffered a hyperextended elbow during WrestleMania XL but has worked through the injury on WWE's UK tour.
Natalya took to her Instagram story recently to send a message to McIntyre following news of his injury. She noted that the two have been friends for a long time and her first UK tour with the company was with McIntyre in 2007.
"My first European tour in @WWE was in 2007 with @dmintyrewwe. We've been friends ever since. Proud of how far you've come... best is yet to come! OGS!" she wrote.
Popular WWE star takes shot at Drew McIntyre
World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest recently took a major shot at Drew McIntyre and claimed that the veteran has forgotten how to deliver in the ring.
Speaking on WWE's The Bump, The Judgment Day member claimed that he doesn't care what McIntyre has to say. He noted that all the 38-year-old does is talk and has forgotten how to back up his words. The Archer of Infamy added that in the past, McIntyre would have taken care of business.
"Not if it's not true. I could care less about what Drew says. Drew's been talking for months. That's all he does is talk. He's forgot how to deliver, and that's why he lost at WrestleMania, that is why he lost on RAW. The old Drew McIntyre, the one that he always talks about, when he had his moment but there was no fans, that guy handled business. This guy, all he does is talk, and ocmplain, and whine, and then he loses," he stated.
Drew McIntyre poked fun at CM Punk at a recent WWE Live Event in the United Kingdom. It will be interesting to see when CM Punk returns to WWE television after costing McIntyre his reign as World Heavyweight Champion.
