"Needless anxiety" - Major name gives an honest opinion of Triple H's WWE regime in its early days

Triple H's WWE regime has received immense support from the audience, and the product has drastically changed since Vince McMahon's retirement. Ronda Rousey recently gave her honest opinion of working under The Game in the early days.

The Triple H-led management gradually changed the look and feel of the company's weekly product. While the overall feedback was positive, some elements of the old regime were still in the company's programming when The King of Kings took over the creative department.

In an interview on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, Ronda Rousey opened up about her initial experience working under Triple H in WWE. She compared it to Saturday Night Live and claimed that talents barely had time to rehearse their segments.

"I've heard it's a lot better. But yeah, that wasn't my experience before. My experience before was like if you showed up to Saturday Night Live and no one had written the show yet, like you hadn't been filming it and practicing it all week. It was like, you just showed up and you had to negotiate what the script was going to be until the very last second. Even if we killed it and had such a great time while we were out there, it was just the needless anxiety of getting to the finish line just made it so not fun. So unfortunately, it's kind of put a gross kind of a film on the incredible experience," Rousey said. [H/T - CVV]

Ronda Rousey on why she wouldn't return to WWE under Triple H's regime

Many expected Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler to thrive under the Triple H-led management. However, the two feuded with each other last year, and The Baddest Woman on the Planet eventually left WWE.

In the same interview with Chris Van Vliet, the former WWE Women's Champion praised the new regime but disclosed that she didn't want to return as a full-time performer on the road.

"I hear from everybody that it is so much better now, and I'm happy for them. But it's also, I got babies, I can't be taking them on the road. I did it for a little bit with one, I can't do that with two. It was hard on my husband for us not all to be there all the time. I just don't think I can ask them to sacrifice that anymore," Rousey said. [H/T - CVV]

The UFC Hall of Famer is getting ready to welcome her second child. Hence, she is unlikely to return to the ring anytime soon.
