"Negative experience" - Major star details why she won't return to WWE for another run

WWE Superstars have often returned to the promotion after they have left or were released from the company. Meanwhile, Ronda Rousey made it clear that she's not interested in returning to the Stamford-based promotion for another run.

A few years ago, Rousey became a household name in professional wrestling under Vince McMahon's leadership. Unfortunately, the star never got to experience Triple H's leadership as the old regime had their hands well adjusted in the system.

In an interview with WrestleZone, The Baddest Woman on the Planet stated she's not interested in returning to the Stamford-based promotion and cited her "negative experience" from her time with the company. She also said she's heard of several positive changes under Triple H's regime but doesn't want to return to WWE.

"I mean my last run just with Vince [McMahon] and Bruce Prichard and John Laurinaitis was such a negative experience. I know most of them are gone [except Prichard] [...] I'm not overly excited to come back like I was the last time [2022]. Even though I had so many matches that I very much enjoyed and had a great time when I look back on it. I don't really think of the joy I had in those matches and those live shows," Rousey said.

She also said that the uncertainty of daily affairs and constant changes to storylines at the promotion under the old leadership made her anxious. She added that there was never any time to prepare for any situation and the continuous time cuts were some of the reasons that drove her to leave WWE.

"The anxiety of never knowing what was going on until the very last minute, and not being allowed to prepare and getting our time cut over and over and over again. The experience itself was needlessly stressful. That's what drove me so hard towards screenwriting and drafting novels. It's kind of like a refuge from that," Rousey added. [From 21:45 to 22:57]
