Newly crowned champion calls out John Cena after huge victory at WWE SummerSlam

With John Cena set to embark upon a retirement tour next year, many WWE stars are bound to be wishing for an opportunity to face the Greatest of All Time. Bron Breakker has also expressed his desire to defend his title against the 16-time world champion following his victory at SummerSlam.

Bron Breakker has been a force to be reckoned with ever since making his pro wrestling debut. The 26-year-old moved over to RAW earlier this year and did not take long to win his first title on the main roster as he defeated Sami Zayn at SummerSlam to win the Intercontinental Championship.

However, it seems like the newly crowned champion is in no mood to rest as he called out John Cena after his victory at WWE SummerSlam. In an exclusive interview with SEScoops, the second-generation star asked Cena to grow some balls and face him:

"John Cena. He has never won the Intercontinental Championship before. So I say come take it from me. Come take the Championship from me. Grow some balls, come take the Championship from me. Let’s go. Let’s do it."

John Cena is rumored to face another current WWE champion

John Cena stunned the wrestling world at Money in the Bank last month when he announced that he would soon be hanging up his boots. The Cenation Leader also noted that he would be active throughout 2025 and compete in numerous matches before calling it a day.

While fans are hyped about the 16-time world champion competing in various enthralling matches, many also want him to win another world title and break Ric Flair's historic record. Their wish could end up coming true as a recent report claimed that there are plans for Cena to challenge Gunther.

The Ring General won the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE SummerSlam as he defeated Damian Priest. Cena dethroning the Austrian star to claim his 17th world title is very likely to be on the cards now.
