Next step for Jey Uso after losing the Intercontinental Championship on RAW predicted by ex-WWE employee
After holding the title for 28 days, Jey Uso lost the Intercontinental Championship to Bron Breakker last night on WWE RAW. A former WWE employee later predicted Main Event Jey's next move.
Over the last few days, Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns seemingly tried to get Jey's help in their war against the new Bloodline. Although Jey refused to talk to The Original Tribal Chief, he confronted Solo Sikoa about dividing the family on SmackDown. While Sikoa refused to listen to Jey, the new Bloodline interfered in the Intercontinental Championship match last night to cost the 39-year-old the title.
Speaking on the Behind The Turnbuckle: The Last Word podcast, ex-WWE employee Tommy Carlucci predicted that Jey's next move after losing the Intercontinental Championship would be to reunite with Reigns and Jimmy ahead of a potential match against the new Bloodline at Survivor Series:
"I think it's all gonna lead back to The OTC right now. He needs help. And the Yeet man doesn't want no help. But now that this happened and Solo was part of the demise of Jey being the IC champ, I think it's all gonna lead back to him joining forces with Roman and his brother and there's gonna be a match at Survivor Series. OTC Roman and Jey and the rest of the boys going against the new Bloodline," he said. [5:53 - 6:23]
WWE analyst thinks Jey Uso will save The Bloodline
On his Notsam Wrestling podcast, WWE analyst Sam Roberts also addressed Jey Uso's future. He predicted that the former Intercontinental Champion would be the one to save The Bloodline, not Roman Reigns.
The RAW Talk host disclosed that he believes that Jey saving the family would be a "full-circle Jey Uso redemption arc story":
"I think that Jey Uso is gonna be involved with The Bloodline. I think that this whole thing that we're seeing is a redemption arc for Jey Uso. (...) I think the story was that at one point The Usos needed Roman Reigns to prosper. And now, it's Jey Uso that Roman Reigns needs to allow him to prosper. I think Jey Uso being the one to save The Bloodline and not Roman Reigns is that full-circle Jey Uso redemption arc story that we've been telling for four years now."
It would be interesting to see if Jey Uso will indeed reunite with Reigns and Jimmy to get revenge on the new Bloodline after they cost him the Intercontinental Championship.
