Nia Jax addresses hilarious botch following WWE SmackDown
WWE is heading to Scotland for the second Clash at The Castle Premium Live Event, and superstars from the blue brand are punching their tickets to the event. Today, Nia Jax addressed a hilarious botch from the recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
Nia Jax has been unstoppable upon her return to the Stamford-based promotion. The Irresistible Force recently got drafted to Friday Night SmackDown during the annual WWE Draft and has made waves on the blue brand.
On a recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Mia 'Michin' Yim confronted The Irresistible Force. The argument eventually turned into a brawl, but Jax hilariously slipped twice during the fight. Today, the star addressed the botch on X (formerly Twitter) with a three-word message. Check it out:
"Slippery when wet."
During the brawl, Michin spilled a drink on Jax, which eventually caused Nia Jax to slip twice throughout the segment. This could be what The Irresistible Force was referring to after the show.
Nia Jax has a guaranteed title shot at WWE SummerSlam 2024
After she returned to WWE, Nia Jax has been well-protected under Triple H's regime. The star has rarely taken a clean singles pinfall loss in the Stamford-based promotion. Earlier this year, she was drafted to Friday Night SmackDown.
Later, she entered the traditional Queen of the Ring tournament on the blue brand's bracket. She scored a win over Naomi and a disqualification victory over Jade Cargill before making it to the semi-finals.
In the end, she defeated Bianca Belair and went on to face Lyra Valkyria in the tournament's final at King & Queen of the Ring 2024. The Irresistible Force won the tournament in Saudi Arabia and became Queen Nia.
It was also revealed that she would get a title shot at SummerSlam 2024 against the WWE Women's Champion. Bayley is set to defend her title against Piper Niven at Clash at The Castle 2024. Whoever wins this match will likely face Jax if the title doesn't change hands at the Money in the Bank PLE.
