Nia Jax allegedly hates former WWE star
A former WWE star recently opened up about his relationship with Nia Jax. He claimed The Irresistible Force allegedly hates him.
Jonathan Coachman had two stints in the Stamford-based company. After leaving in 2008 following his contract expiry, he returned nearly a decade later to join the RAW commentary team. However, his comeback was short-lived, as he departed just three years later. On the Behind The Turnbuckle: The Last Word podcast, The Coach recently disclosed that Jax was advocating against him during his second WWE run.
The former Interim RAW General Manager claimed the WWE Women's Champion hated him and pushed for Renee Paquette (FKA Renee Young) to replace him on the RAW commentary team:
"She hates me by the way, Rafael. Years ago when, and this shows how crazy it was at the time. When I left ESPN and I came back, I told Vince [McMahon] I've got four golf events that I already have on my schedule I didn't want to miss. [...] So, they started filling in. And I remember they put Renee in my spot. Nobody liked the fact that they brought me back. They were, whatever the reason. I'm not gonna use the jealous word. It is what it is. But Nia Jax led the charge of Renee, Renee, Renee in Coach's spot. She didn't like me for whatever reason," he said. [From 1:37:35 to 1:38:28]
Nia Jax competed at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames
Last night, Nia Jax teamed up with Women's World Champion Liv Morgan, Ms. Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton, Raquel Rodriguez,3
and Candice LeRae in the Women's WarGames match against Bayley, Naomi, IYO SKY, Bianca Belair, and Rhea Ripley. However, The Eradicator's team won.
While The Coach heavily criticized the match, The former Interim RAW General Manager claimed the decision to have Nia Jax start the bout was wrong:
"You also have Nia Jax. And I've been very critical of her because she hasn't gotten any better. And she's been around for so long. And I'm like, you can't get better? You can't wrestle better? You can't have better cardio? And at this point when you're starting her in the match, guys, you're asking her to go over an hour instead of putting in two that can absolutely go. [...] I would've had her at the back of the cage and just waiting and coming into the match and just destroying everybody," he said. [From 1:03:29 - 1:03:59]
It would be interesting to see what is next for the WWE Women's Champion after her loss at Survivor Series: WarGames.
