Nia Jax breaks character to send an emotional message to male WWE name who was forced to retire

Nia Jax may be a heel in WWE, but she broke her usual heel character to send an emotional message. The star had something to say to a male WWE name on his birthday.

Ex-WWE Superstar and now producer TJ Wilson, aka Tyson Kidd, is one of the most beloved stars to have worked in the company. He had an incredible career in the ring, but before he could reach his true potential in the business, he was forced to retire in June 2015 due to a botched move during a dark match that caused a spinal injury.

He has become an integral presence backstage, helping WWE stars with their matches in the ring and working as one of the lead producers for most shows.

Nia Jax was emotional when sending a message to the star on Instagram, breaking her usual heel persona. She was full of praise for Natalya's real-life husband, saying he was truly appreciated and loved. She also asked TJ to have a great time on his birthday.

"Happy birthday TJ!! One of the best humans I know! Thank you for all you do! You're truly appreciated and loved! Have the best day! @TJWILSON711," Jax wrote on her Instagram story.

While Nia Jax and others appreciate the work he does backstage, Tyson Kidd, aka TJ Wilson, has spoken about not coming out of retirement

In an interview last year, TJ Wilson confirmed that he will never compete in the ring again.

While he knew he could do the moves, he could not take bumps, so TJ could not see himself returning to the ring.

"I mean, I know they say never say never. But I've said never for the last eight years. No, the truth is I can do probably in some things I can do, like 99% of the moves. I just can't do the actual bump, or you know, and I'm sure maybe I could take a couple, but at what cost? I don't know, like I haven't taken one. So there is no point to me."

While this means that he won't wrestle again, the work he does behind the scenes has proven to be invaluable as well.
