Nia Jax breaks character to share real-life issue ahead of WWE SmackDown
WWE Superstar Nia Jax is among the top heel characters on the roster. However, The Irresistible Force recently broke character and shared a social media update, highlighting a personal issue outside the wrestling promotion.
The 40-year-old is currently involved in a heated rivalry with the WWE Women's Champion Bayley. The two performers are scheduled to lock horns at SummerSlam with the title on the line.
The former RAW Women's Champion recently took to X (fka Twitter) to open up about a real-life issue she is currently facing. Nia noted that the power at her farm had been gone for over 24 hours due to a truck crashing into a power line. She further mentioned the issues her pets had been facing in the absence of power.
"24 hours without power or AC in FLORIDA for my farm because an @amazon truck driver crashed into the power line in front of my house, then tried to drive off without taking responsibility, thankfully have pics of everything! No running water and my animals need water in this heat," she wrote.

Nia Jax has received a lot of criticism for accidentally injuring some of her opponents during her previous runs with the company. Following her surprise release in 2021, The Irresistible Force returned to the company last September. Jax seems to have grown in confidence during her current run as she looks more assured inside the squared circle.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk, former WWE manager Dutch Mantell pointed out that Triple H valued Nia Jax's talent and helped her refine her in-ring skills. He added that the wrestling promotion has put a lot of effort into helping her improve:
"See, her big criticism was that she hurt people. But Triple H said, 'We gotta fix that. We can't have this specimen of a talent just sitting there doing nothing. So, we can correct that.' So, you can tell they have done a lot of work on her. If this [is] Triple H's stamp is on her, the last thing he wants is for her to fail. And she's not gonna fail. You can tell how much work they put into her," he said. [From 13:00 onwards]
Nia Jax will take to the ring this Saturday, hoping to dethrone Bayley to win a singles title for just the second time in her career. It remains to be seen who will walk out of the Cleveland Browns Stadium as the champion.
